Rakeback Poker: Full Tilt Poker Software Update and Double Guarantees Week

There is some big news for rakeback poker players at Full Tilt Poker as they have launched a new format of tournament where players can buy into a tournament more than once. Full Tilt Poker Rakeback players will be able to play more than one seat in these special MTTs and give themselves more opportunities to go deep. Full Tilt have also announced that they will double all of their guaranteed tournament prize pools for the week of January 24^th to Sunday 30^th.

The new Multi-Entry tournaments will allow players to play more than one seat at a time up to a maximum of four buy ins. Players will never be seated with one of their other entries to prevent collusion and if they have more entries than there are tables left they will have their stacks merged. In the unique situation of two entries left on the final table bubble, the stacks will be merged onto the Final Table.

The first Multi-Entry table took place on Tuesday morning with a number of Full Tilt Red Pros lining up to try it out. The maximum of 5,000 entries was reached and Storm667 picked up the first prize. As Multi-Entry tournaments gain in popularity they will become more prevalent across the site and it has been confirmed that they will appear in the next FTOPS this February.

There are a number of minor changes with this software update with the ability for cash game players to sit out or sit back in to all tables at once making it easier to take a break when grinding for rakeback. Players will also be able to run it twice in mixed games having first introduced this ability on the high stakes cash tables.

Full Tilt have also confirmed that between January 24^th and January 30^th every single guaranteed tournament that week on the schedule will have its prize pool doubled. This means the Sunday Million will be $2m whilst the Sunday Brawl will be $800k GTD.
