PokerStars 50 Billionth Hand and WCOOP

PokerStars 50 Billionth Hand

PokerStars latest promotion the 50 Billionth hand was paid out on September 22nd at a micro stakes table with the hand winner “tbvle” picking up a huge payday of $56,140 as well as a $5,200 WCOOP Main Event seat ticket. The WCCOP itself meanwhile still has fifteen events to go from the total of 62 including the huge Main Event which will take place on September 26th and 27th with a guaranteed $10,000,000 prize pool.

The eponymous Billionth Hand promotion finished at a $0.02/$0.05 six seated micro table and awarded $71,410 in total cash to the six players as well as $31,200 worth of WCCOP Main Event tickets. The hand winner “tbvle” saw his pocket queens survive against the all ins of all the other five players as they sought to maximise their VPP points. The prize money was in direct proportion to their VPPs earned over the previous 50 hands. “tbvle” won a total of $56,140 all for playing a nickel big blind table.

With promotions like these and the great reward system it is easy to see why PokerStars is so popular even without PokerStars rakeback. The VPP system is another form of rakeback PokerStars which is run by the site itself and ensures players are able to receive a form of rakeback whilst they play at the world’s most popular site.

The site also offers online poker’s biggest prizes with the WCOOP Main Event guaranteeing $10,000,000 in prize money. With satellites still running for this unbelievable event there is still plenty of time to book your place and compete for what will be an enormous prize pool.

The WCOOP has so far delivered a total of $6,025,993.44 to just the winners of these tournaments and with a guaranteed $19,150,000 still to come as the biggest tournaments approach the total prize pool for the series is expected to be far greater than the guaranteed $50,000,000.
