PokerStars have launched their Americas Cup of Poker team event which will see qualifiers and the PokerStars Pro Team compete for their country at a live event which is being held in Argentina. There is a whopping $250,000 prize pool on the line here so everyone’s going to be very excited to get involved. The action will start online, where players will be able to help their team qualify to the live final. There will be 8 teams who win qualification through their group and they will then make it to Argentina in order to play for the massive cash prize. The live tournaments will take place as a ski resort in Bariloche situation against the beautiful backdrop of the Andes. So not only is the money life changing, the trip itself will also be something worth fighting for.
Players from the following 16 countries have the chance to compete and help their nation make it to the final; USA, Mexico, Canada, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Uruguay, Peru, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, Guatemala, Panama and Honduras.
