Back in September Rakeback Poker took a look at the potential inductees to the Hall of Fame and we massively underestimated the power of Dan Harrington. He joins Erik Seidel in being inducted into the WSOP Hall of Fame this November. We backed Seidel but unfortunately but Phil Ivey ahead of Harrington – in fact we put a lot of poker players ahead of Harrington. It’s probably best if we stick to finding the best rakeback deals rather than making predictions.
Dan Harrington was a surprise to us but he has won a Main Event and achieved the seemingly impossible in Final tabling two Main Events post-Moneymaker. Since the fields were supersized Dan Harrington has managed to reach two Final Tables in a row fighting through enormous fields but ultimately falling short. He does have two bracelets, a WPT title and over $6m in live tournament earnings to his name. His work away from the table will also have played a large part with his strategy books and in particular Harrington on Hold’em one of the most important poker books on the market.
We picked Erik Seidel and with good reason, eight WSOP bracelets, one WPT title and over $10m in live tournament fill the Full Tilt Poker pros resume. For every Full Tilt rakeback player out there, this is the guy to emulate and he has always done it whilst being a gentleman. The young poker players should notice how the legends of poker conduct themselves and they might learn a bit and it could help them get a sponsorship deal at some point.
One of our own rakeback poker players John Racener is in the November Nine whilst David Vamplew has been making waves in Europe winning the EPT London and the UKIPT Champions Event showing that even the best in the business understand the importance of rakeback. Rakeback is for everyone even if you only play recreationally or grind out eight hours a day – it will make a big difference to your bottom line.
We offer rakeback deals at all the big sites including Cake Poker Rakeback, Absolute Poker Rakeback and of course Full Tilt Poke Rakeback.
