Betfair Poker’s team shape up for Caesar’s Cup

One Cup, One City, Two Teams!

With barely a month to go before two teams come head to head in London for the Caesar’s Cup, Betfair Poker’s Team are shaping up to be a strong contender.

The Caesar’s Cup is modelled on golf’s Ryder Cup and looks set to be one of the most fascinating, high profile, poker events of the year and starts a great season of poker in London this autumn.

Both teams will consist of eight players. Joining the Team for Europe will be one online qualifier from Betfair Poker. The teams will be announced in full prior to the start date on September 26th.

Daniel Negreanu will captain the Americas team. Negreanu, yesterday, announced his team selections will include Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey and John Juanda.

Europe’s captain, Annette Obrestad, has so far selected Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier, Dario Minieri and Peter Eastgate to take on the Americans.
